Explosion on London Tube Parsons Green

Passengers on a District Line Tube train at Parsons Green have reported panic on the platform after reports of a fire or explosion.
According to a metro.co.uk reporter at the scene people have suffered facial burns and a white container exploded towards the rear of the train.
She said people were ‘really badly burned’ adding that ‘there hair was coming off’.
The rear of the train filled with smoke and people were evacuated onto the platform at Parsons Green.
It is also being reported that people were initially told not to leave the station before an evacuation took place.

A vote might be the bottom line as to why none of the political parties do anything against (potential) terrorists.

"Be nice" to them and there's more chance of them voting for whoever gives - or "promises" to give - them most, on the biggest plate.

Successive governments simply try to "out-nice" each other in an effort to win that last vote that may just get them over the line and into office.

Ineligibility to vote for (at least) 10 years after gaining citizenship may go some way to helping address that - after all, people actually born in the UK have to wait 18 years before they can have a political say in things.

I think the point Hayzer is that for some on here the issue does not quite break down into the convenient right = heroic defenders of the Britain and the left - treacherous cunts rhetoric.
Labour and Conservative governments have had ample opportunity to devise and implement some sort of response to Islamist terrorism over the years and yet you could not get a fag paper between the output of both.

Used to drink in the Duke of Cumberland fairly often and occasionally wander over to the Sloany Pony on the way back to the tube after spending the day at the Duke.
